The Tidal Pull of the Ocean

We are all drawn toward the ocean. Perhaps, in some, it is an atavistic urge to return to the home of our phylogenetic ancestry. In others, perhaps, it is a longing to return to the weightless security of the womb, the constant beat of the surf like the pulse of a maternal heart. Regardless, the existence of that pull is undeniable.
